Scout team.

I offered Foster/Cobb for 5th & 6th rd picks, no traction so far. Sure it's early, draft, FA signing etc. Info subject to change.

The newly added addition to my team is the young, talented SD WR Keenan Allen and he pushes my 4 man team into a crossroads check point Charlie situation. Foster is the oldest player out of my 5 players (Foster-Gio-Jones-Cobb-Allen) and back surgery at his age is never a good sign. If Gio gets good signs of more touches than I will keep Gio, Julio Jones, Cobb & Allen. And let go of Foster. But is this a mistake? Maybe Foster has 2 more years left in the tank. Do I gamble on Keenan Allen who is already projected inside top 10 WR dynasty keeper rankings. Gio's RB dynasty keeper stock is projected inside top 5 and sadly Fosters stock has sank in a more southernly direction, As you know, WR's have longer healthier careers than RB's. But sometimes in fantasy football and in life, you just gotta let go. It pains me to release Arian Foster, he has been great.

I know it's way too early but just for fun which 2 would you keep? 16 team league standard scoring 2 keepers per team. At least 8 or so qb's will be kept. Start 1qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex 1 te.

J Charles
Ray rice
Jordy Nelson

Sad as it is, I would probably go ahead and say goodbye to Arian Foster. Maybe I'm jumping ship too early, but with a new coaching staff in place, advanced age and injury issues, and a shaky QB situation, I'd be inclined to move on and hang on to your young studs. I'm not opposed to keeping Foster over Cobb, but ultimately, I'd probably hang on to what you've got and try to prioritize running back in the draft. The rookie class looks deceptively good. Watch where guys like Lache Seastrunk land.

Right now, I'd probably keep Charles and Jordy. I'm okay if you want to go with Kap and Charles, but I'd probably side with Jordy in this situation.

rodger saffold vs jared valhdeer = who is the better LT? Will there be a significant difference when it comes to the running game?

Veldheer is the better left tackle. If Veldheer signs in Arizona, that improves the passing game more than anything else for the Cardinals. If Saffold signs in Oakland, that's more likely to improve the running game there.

Guy to watch is Jon Asamoah, OG for the Chiefs. He signs in Atlanta, that fortifies the right side and spells good things for Steven Jackson.

I'm trying to decide on 2 keepers for the upcoming season. Im already keeping gordon as he will only cost a 9th rndr this year. Im having a hard time deciding btwn Stacy, J Thomas & K Allen all which will cost me 7th rnd pick. Its a 10 team standard ppr with 1 qb/2 rb/ 2 wr/ te & flex. Curious to your thoughts and reason.

I'm personally starting to get that warm and fuzzy feeling about Stacy. I know it's a tough division but Fisher said he could be a 70-percent guy which based on last year would have been 298 carries - third behind McCoy and Lynch.

WR will be pretty deep again, and while I like Allen, you may be able to improve there in your draft. Long way until summer but I think Stacy could be a late first, early second type pick this year.

Scout team.

4 man keeper.

Do you think Sammy Watkins is a better prospect than Julio jones when he entered the NFL?

Subject to change (Watkins new team situation) I could drop R. Cobb or Keenan Allen as my fourth keeper and try and get Watkins . Whaddaya think?

I tend to shy away from rookie WR's, unless I'm in a full on dynasty league. Watkins is less of a prospect than Jones was in my opinion, but he is more productive and less risky. Jones has the full package, but the question was whether he could stay healthy and run good routes. Watkins doesn't have those questions and the bust risk is much lower, but he's not the same kind of prospect.

I'd probably hang on to Cobb and Allen, who both should be stellar this year. We also don't know where Watkins is going, but if he's in Jacksonville, St. Louis, Oakland, or Cleveland (the most likely spots), then he's going to have QB issues. Cobb and Allen have prolific passers looking in their direction.

Scout team;

4 player keeper 1QB1RB2WR1FLEX1TE PPR $

I was able to trade Arian Foster for a 6th round pick. My 4 keepers will be Gio, Julio, Cobb & Allen. I will be most likely selecting an RB2 in the 5th. I project Cameron to be there in the top 6th and with my extra pick take a top 5 Defense (heavy scoring format). I will start to look at QB's starting in the 7th. QBs have high keeper value in my 6pt TD league. I know it's early but what are your thoughts so far ? I believe I did well with the Foster trade,

I agree with you. I think Foster is done. While he still has value, I think cutting bait and going with your keepers you've got, while getting value in the draft for him was brilliant. All in.

I like you cutting bait with Foster too. He may bounce back a little but long term in a keeper league it was a good move.

I think this year is going to be similar to last in terms of positions to take in certain rounds. Not sure about Cameron being there in the 6th. I think name alone could have him go higher. People who don't follow as much and saw him drafted last year and said "who?" and then saw him produce early won't forget, but I agree that he probably should be there.

I think QB in the 7th, much like last year, is a good place to get a pretty good one with bottom top-10 value.

It's tough to stick to a plan like you have, esp. if see a QB you really like fall and is there in the 4th or 5th (I speak from experience) but overall I think it's a good plan.

12 team ppr. In my league in addition to our 2 normal keepers (A Peterson & Dez Bryant) we have one "franchise" keeper spot available for players drafted in their first 2 years. My options for this season are T.Y. Hilton (lose 8th rd pick) or Michael Floyd (lose 10th rd pick) I'd be able to keep either one of these guys for 5 seasons moving forward. I know they had similar numbers last year but Hilton showed some real promise in the playoffs. Who should I keep?
