RULES - HOW TO PLAY

You build your fantasy football team of 18 players within the constraints of a $100 million salary cap.

You select your roster…

3 Quarterbacks 4 Running Backs
5 Wide Receivers 2 Tight Ends
2 Kickers 2 Team Defenses
You can tweak your team as much as you like up until 9/6 1:00 PM ET. After that, all team rosters will be locked.

During the first ten weeks, we’ll use a Survivor format.

It plays out like this. . .

WEEKS 1-10 (Regular Season)
If your team has a low score (in the bottom 5%) one week you are eliminated. So, after 10 weeks, half the teams will be gone.

Next, the playoffs will start and we’ll measure who built their team for a strong playoff run.

The playoffs will go down as follows. . .

WEEKS 11-16 (Playoffs)
The playoff period will run six weeks from NFL weeks 11-16. All advancing teams will start out with zero points. At the conclusion of the playoffs, all teams that advanced will be ranked high-to-low based upon total points scored during the six-week playoff period. The highest ranked eligible team in the playoffs will be the Champion and win the $5,000.00 cash prize.

The final twist…

ONLY YOUR BEST COUNT
Because the NFL season is long and injuries occur, only your top players each week will count towards your team’s weekly score.

It works like this…

After each week, the Ultimate Survivor contest software will automatically determine your highest scoring players by position as follows:
1 QB 1 TE
2 RBs 1 K
2 WRs 1 DEF
Only these 8 spots will count towards your weekly score.

Without having to manage a weekly roster, this process ensures your team gets its maximum points and it allows your team to overcome some injuries.

Key Dates / When You Can Build Your Team
Salary Cap values will be announced on July 15th. Once announced, salary cap prices will not change. You can start building your team on July 15th. In addition, you can tweak your roster as much as you like up until September 6th (1:00 PM ET).

Scoring
We'll use the FFTOC's scoring rules and Players and Team Defenses will be graded out using the FFTOC point scoring system. In a nutshell…
6 points for all TDs 1 point for every 10 yards receiving
1 point for every 25 yards passing 3 points for every FG
1 point for every 10 yards rushing 1 point for every Extra Point kicked
See sections 7a, 7b and 7c on FFTOC SCORING RULES for all scoring values.
