2009 3RD YEAR NFL WIDE RECEIVERS
In some cases, the 3rd season has proven to be a breakout year for NFL wide receivers.
In turn, each year we get emails asking for a list of key 3rd Year NFL Wideouts.
Keeping in mind most 3rd year WRs don't breakout, here's a short-list of Wide Receivers entering their 3rd season:
Calvin Johnson DET - huge talent, huge upside potential.
Dwayne Bowe KC - the addition of Matt Cassell at QB should help.
Steve Breaston ARI - even as a #3 WR he put of nice stats last year.
Ted Ginn Jr. MIA - we're hearing good things about him so far this year.
Anthony Gonzalez IND - Marvin Harrison's retirement paves the way.
Robert Meachem NO - speedster with good size, playing on turf in a great passing system.
Steve Smith NYG - always seems to step up; with Burress gone, he'll get looks.
James Jones GB - powerful WR, not afraid to work over the middle.
Sidney Rice MIN - could be hard to stop along the sidelines.
Jason Hill SF - decent route runner.
